Configure the identity and behavior of the workspace

The Basic Information tab is the first displayed when accessing Settings > System. It brings together the workspace’s identification data, behavior preferences, optional modules, and the deletion option.

Identification data

  • Name — displayed name of the workspace.
  • Reference — workspace slug (e.g., be-enspace). It is the technical identifier that appears in the URL. It cannot be changed after creation.
  • Description — optional text to describe the purpose or scope of the workspace.
  • Icon — image for visual identification of the workspace. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, or GIF (no animations).

Additional settings

  • Default Language — defines the base language applied to native interface terms of the workspace. Changing the default language does not affect content already created by you — to translate your custom terms (field names, labels, help texts), use Dictionaries.
  • Show Categories — enables the display of categories on the workspace Home screen.
  • Ignore Permissions for Full Members — when enabled, members with a Full license will have unrestricted access, ignoring all role permission rules. In practice, this equates them to Owner.
  • Hide Create Button on Categories Screen — removes the item creation button on the categories screen. Useful for categories that receive items exclusively via automation (Spaceflows) or that have been disabled for manual creation.
  • Enable Custom Stamp on Documents — allows each member to have their own seal for use in official documents generated by flows. This is the prerequisite for the Document Seal feature.

Modules

Allows you to enable or disable optional workspace features:

  • Monetary Correction — enables automatic updating of financial values based on official economic indices (such as IPCA, INPC, or IGP-M). Useful for adjusting contract values, charges, and balances over time. Disabling the module does not change already corrected data but stops new corrections.
  • Comparisons — enables data comparison features between items.

To learn more about each module, see the Modules section.

Danger Zone

The Danger Zone section allows you to permanently delete the workspace and all its data. Only members with Owner or Full licenses (with permission) can perform this action.

Irreversible action
Deletion removes all items, documents, files, members, settings, forms, and workflows. It is not possible to restore a deleted workspace.
