Interact with the workspace's artificial intelligence

The AI Chat is ENSPACE's conversational interface. Through it, you access BENI — the default assistant — or any custom AI agent configured in the workspace.

Through the chat, the AI can query data, create and update records, manage tasks, send emails and perform various actions in the workspace — all according to the tools available for the selected agent.

Information
The chat consumes en-credits with each interaction. The cost varies depending on the complexity of the response — longer responses with more reasoning consume more credits. Members with Viewer license do not have access to the chat.

How to access

The chat can be accessed in two ways:

Floating widget

The BENI icon is located in the bottom-right corner of the screen, available on any workspace screen. Click to open the chat panel. The panel will open with the most recent conversation loaded automatically.

  • Repositioning — click and hold the title bar (top area of the panel) and drag to the desired position. The position is maintained during the login session. When logging in again, the widget returns to the bottom-right corner.
  • Resizing — position the cursor over any edge or corner of the panel and drag when the cursor changes to the resize icon. If you close and reopen the panel, it will maintain the defined dimensions.
  • Background responses — if you close the panel while the AI is still generating a response, the content will be loaded automatically the next time you open it. There is no need to resend the message.

Dedicated screen

Full-screen interface accessible via Help > BENI AI in the sidebar menu. The most recent conversation is loaded automatically. Ideal for long interactions, document analysis or detailed history review.

The chat is synchronized in real time between both access methods: if you start a conversation in the widget and open the dedicated screen, the history will be identical.


Chat interface

  • Conversation area — displays the message history of the active conversation, with the agent's responses formatted.
  • Message field — where you type your message or question for the agent. Press Enter to send.
  • Attach file — on the left side of the message field, click the paperclip icon to attach files. Accepted formats: PDF, Excel, Word, CSV and TXT.
  • Agent selector — above the message field, allows switching between BENI and custom agents.
  • History icon — in the top-left corner, opens the sidebar with previous conversations.

Conversation context

BENI and agents do not have automatic visibility of the screen you are navigating. For the AI to analyze a specific piece of data, provide context in the message — mention the item name, reference, or attach the relevant file.


Agent selection

The agent selector is positioned above the message field. Use it to switch between BENI and the custom agents configured in the workspace.

When switching agents, the sidebar history is automatically filtered to show only the conversations of the selected agent. Each agent maintains its own independent history.


Conversation history

The chat keeps a record of all your conversations, with no expiration date.

  • Access — click the history icon in the top-left corner to expand the sidebar with the conversation list.
  • Delete — you can delete specific conversations from the history at any time.

Each workspace has its own chat and history. If you participate in multiple workspaces, each will have independent conversations.

It is not possible to share conversations with other members.
