Allows the agent to change the name, description, icon, color, or prefix of an existing category.
When to enable this tool
Use this tool when the user wants to modify the information of an existing record category in the workspace.
Practical examples:
- "Rename the 'Clients' category to 'Clients and Partners'"
- "Change the 'Contracts' category icon to a document icon"
- "Update the 'Suppliers' category description"
What the agent can do
- Change the category name
- Change the description
- Change the icon and color
- Change the prefix used in record codes

Important notes
- Categories cannot be deleted — only deactivated
- Changing the category prefix does not change the codes of already created records — it only affects new records
- Renaming a category does not affect existing records
