Allows the agent to query which record categories are available to the user in the workspace.


When to enable this tool

Use this tool when the user wants to know which record types exist in the workspace or when the agent needs to choose the correct category before creating a record.

Practical examples:

  • "What record categories exist in the workspace?"
  • "I need to know the available types before creating a new case"
  • The agent queries categories to identify which one to use when creating a record

What the agent can do

  • List all categories available to the user
  • Search categories by name
  • See which fields each category has
