Create Record

Allows the agent to create new records in any workspace category — processes, contracts, clients, tickets, or any other configured type.


When to enable this tool

Use this tool when you want the agent to be able to register information in the workspace based on a user request.

Practical examples:

  • The user asks the agent to register a new case with number, client, and date
  • The agent receives data from a form and automatically saves it in the correct category
  • An intake agent registers new clients when starting a service

What the agent can do

  • Create records in any workspace category
  • Fill in the record's fields with the information provided by the user
  • Save up to 5 records at a time
  • Create records as drafts (without publishing immediately)

Information the agent uses

To fill in the fields correctly, the agent may need to query the category structure with the View workspace structure tool before creating the record.

Important notes

  • The agent can only create up to 5 records at a time — for larger batches, multiple operations will be needed
  • Fields marked as required in the category must be filled in
  • If the agent doesn't have all the necessary information, it should ask the user before attempting to create the record
