Edit Role
Allows the agent to rename, update, or deactivate an existing role in the workspace.
When to enable this tool
Use this tool when the agent needs to modify an already created role — fix the name, add a description, or deactivate a role that is no longer used.
Practical examples:
- "Rename the Analyst role to Senior Analyst"
- "Deactivate the 'Intern' role — we no longer have that position"
- Add a description to roles that had no explanation
What the agent can do
- Rename the role

Important notes
- Roles cannot be deleted — deactivate them with inactive status when they are no longer needed
