Overview – Flows in ENSPACE

Flows are the foundation of intelligent automation in ENSPACE. They allow you to model internal processes through steps, automated tasks, and activation triggers — creating a smooth and controlled experience for teams, approvers, and end users.

By using flows, you replace manual and scattered tasks with organized steps, defined logic, and full control over how information moves within your operation.

Flow Structure

Each flow is made up of steps, tasks, and triggers, which control the behavior of the process. See how they relate below:

🔹 Steps

Steps are the main building blocks of a flow. Each step represents an action or decision point, such as:

  • Fill out a form
  • Wait for approval
  • Evaluate a condition
  • Execute an integration

These steps are connected to form the timeline of the process — from start to finish.

🔹 Tasks

Tasks represent activities that require human interaction within a flow. They are defined beforehand during the flow setup, within specific steps, and are automatically generated by the system when that step is reached during the actual execution of the process.

  • Approve a request
  • Fill in additional data
  • Validate a document
  • Make a decision

🔹 Triggers (internal to the flow)

Triggers define when and how each step of the flow will be activated. They work as internal conditions that react to data, forms, or context.

Examples of trigger use:

  • Advance a task only if the answer is “yes”
  • Activate an alternate path if the value is greater than R$ 5,000
