Send Email

Allows the agent to send formatted or plain text emails to one or more recipients.


When to enable this tool

Use this tool when the agent needs to send an email on behalf of the workspace — such as a notification, confirmation, alert, or personalized message.

Practical examples:

  • "Send an email to maria@company.com notifying that the contract was approved"
  • The agent sends an automatic confirmation after creating a record
  • The agent notifies the assignee about a critical task with an access button

What the agent can do

  • Send emails to one or more recipients
  • Use template mode — formatted email with sections, colors, and action button
  • Use plain text mode — email with free-form content
  • Add a direct link button in the email body

Send modes

Template mode (formatted)

The email is built with visual blocks. Each block can have a different style:

It's also possible to add an action button with custom text and link.

Plain text mode

The agent sends the email with a free-form text body, without visual formatting.

Important notes

  • The email is sent through the workspace server — the recipient will see the sender configured in the workspace
  • It is not possible to send attachments via this tool
